2017 will be the 114th season of the MLB and will finish with the 113th World Series. The reason for the World Series count being off by one year is because of the lockout season of 1994, the year Michael Jordan tried to make it in the big leagues.
Notice the AL leads the NL in World Series wins 64-48. It might be fitting for the Washington Nationals to win the 49th World Series for the NL in the 114th season of the MLB. They've been a team on the cusp, with a pitcher who is considered one of the best in the game, Max Scherzer.

Scherzer will turn 33-years-old this season, a special number to the team and city.
Washington = 49
President of the United States = 114
Also, this year marks 141 years since the first season of the National League. It is also the 142nd season of the NL.
Thirty-Three = 141 (Reverse Ordinal)
Forty Two = 142 (Ordinal)
The Nationals have a parallel to both numbers '141' and '142'.
Nationals = 33/42 (Reduction)
*Diamond = 33
This year will mark 148-years since, or 149-total years of Cincinnati's first baseball team.
Cincinnati = 51/96; Freemason = 42/51/96
Also, notice the name Abner Doubleday, who is credited as the father of baseball. Remember, the MLB used to have a 154-game season.
I think I know why...
The 54 ending of 154 also stands out in regards to the game.
As for why it is a 162-game-season now...
The name Abner Doubleday also connects to 'World Series'.
Notice how World Series also connects to 'Freemason'.
If you've never seen Ken Burns baseball documentary, he clearly states baseball has always run on conspiracy and rigging to generate fan excitement and interest, and to control gambling.
With '147' on the brain, let us not forget there are a 147-windows at the White House.
So again I ask, could the Nationals win the 49th World Series for the NL, to close out the 114th season of MLB?
