President Donald Trump’s defense budget proposal for fiscal year 2018 calls for $54 billion in additional spending, but it is not yet clear where this new funding will come from or what it will be used for. The reason for this opposition is simple .... no one has made the case on why the Pentagon budget should be increased. Make the case by outlining what are the national security concerns of the United States ..... what is needed .... what it would cost .... have the debate .... and if you do it right, the people will support you.
