I hadn't listened to this album since the early 90s. Rakim was one the hero's of my youth. Anyway, I was listening to this the other day while doing yard work and some lyrics from Casualties of War, about the first Gulf War, really jumped out at me...

War = 42; World War = 42; The Crusades = 42
Those lyrics are as follows.
Consider that September 11 was written about before it happened by PNAC, the Project for the New American Century, where they called for a "New Pearl Harbor". Since 9/11, the date has been referred to as the New Pearl Harbor.
Are these lyrics coincidental?
