Gameweek 35 Review: Jog To The Finish
It was slim pickings, but a welcome gameweek for those with a high rank. There were no big hauls from top players to shout about this gameweek, but if you had the form players a gameweek like this turned out to be painless. These are the high-owned players producing steady returns week after week:
Harry Kane (11.6)
His scoring record against Arsenal improved further on Sunday when his cool penalty took him to 21 goals for the season. Kane is a must-have for Spurs' double in GW37. He just can't stop scoring.
Christian Eriksen (8.9)
The Danish winger's creativity deserves a mention again this week after being involved in yet another Spurs goal. His last blank was 6 weeks ago. Eriksen is the league's top assist-maker with 17 goals created. Once an inconsistent FPL proposition, now a reliable points generator.
Josh King (6.2)
King has 4 goals in 5 games after scoring the late winner at Sunderland. A left-field pick mid-way through the season, King's ownership has grown and grown, from 73,147 to 814,373 owners in 10 gameweeks. You have missed out if you haven't purchased his fruitful services and there was a huge opportunity to cash in on his inflated price, which has risen from 5.3 to 6.2.
Triple Captain Sanchez?
Alexis Sanchez would have been perfect to be trusted with triple captaincy had Arsenal not been so mediocre in the weeks leading up to his double gameweek. Poor FPL form, poor performances and poor underlying stats along with playing for an out-of-sorts team which he likely won't be playing for next season are all factors that raise question marks over the sense of triple captaining him for Man Utd at home and Southampton away next gameweek. You have been warned!
