I was just at the gas station and I was waiting in line to pay for the gas.  Ahead of me in line was an elderly man with a cane having noticeable trouble moving even with the cane.  He asked the attendant if he could buy some hot food with his EBT card.  The attendant said NO in a very forceful way, it felt there was some unnecessary sentiment behind the NO.  The man with the cane was dark as night and the attendant wasn’t.  So the man who was turned down started to walk away
But I said, wait.  Then I gave him half my gas money which was $10.  He smiled and said God bless you back to me, then he looked back at the cashier and said Jesus is always looking out.  I looked at the time, it was 1:51 on the nose.
