That is why my original prediction on how long it will take to restore Puerto Rico still holds .... the priority has been to make sure that the hospitals and other vital institutions are wired first and running (which they have already done). The next step is to take everyone else .... and that is going to take a very very long time .... years in fact. Are people frustrated .... yes .... but these things take time, and in a place like Puerto Rico which has a history of corruption coupled with economic and societal problems .... probably longer.
