Gameweek 34 - Daily Fantasy Football Tips
Starting 11 is a new Daily Fantasy Premier League football game and app, which has become extremely popular amongst the FPL community since August 2017, as managers get to pick a brand new fantasy team each week, without the headache of managing a season-long team.
As always, this week’s picks are suitable for all fantasy football game formats and will suit most scoring systems, so we hope you find good use for them, whether you’re playing Fantasy Premier League, or daily fantasy games over at Starting 11.

Safe Pick - Lukaku v West Brom (H)
It was the perfect way to win. Lull your opponents into a false state of security – then after halftime produce a shock comeback to temporarily halt their trophy quest.
Manchester United have their heads up. Sanchez and Pogba are playing with confidence. When Pogba is playing well, Lukaku scores goals.
Their opponents West Brom are quite the opposite. Confidence is low from a win-less streak stretching nine games – Lukaku and co to inflict more misery this weekend.
Differential - Barnes v Leicester (H)
It’s unbelievable that a Burnley striker has scored four goals in his last five games.
The Clarets are also looking to secure 7th place in the Premier League. Can they also push Arsenal for 6th?
This week Burnley are at home to Leicester. Vardy and Mahrez may cause problems at one end of the pitch, but at the other Leicester have looked shaky in recent weeks and Barnes can benefit.
Midfielders
Safe Pick – Eriksen v Man City (A)
Tottenham's opposition this week are currently on a three game losing streak. having conceded eight goals during that period. You’d think I was describing a team in a relegation battle rather than Manchester City.
Having scored three goals (despite only being credited with two of them) in two games, Eriksen is in fantastic form.
There is no doubt that this is a tough game for Spurs, but my gut says they could increase Manchester City’s win-less run.
Differential Pick – Milivojevic v Brighton (H)
What? Milivojevic has scored again? It’s becoming harder and hard to ignore the Crystal Palace man who continues to prove himself as an amazing option in Starting 11 and other fantasy football formats.
Crystal Palace are fighting for survival and constantly creating chances, with Milivojevic carrying all set piece responsibility. His run of three goals in three games is more than likely to continue.
Taking on a Brighton defence that’s failed to keep a clean sheet in nine league games, we know Palace will have their chances to score – if it’s a set piece we know who will be taking them.
Defenders
Safe Pick – Bailly v West Brom (H)
Manchester United v West Brom! It may as well be written in bold on this week’s fixture list as fantasy football bosses look to the Red Devils for some big returns.Despite periods on the side-lines through injury, Bailly has established himself as Mourinho’s first choice centre back this season.
A change in management is too late as the writing is on the wall for West Brom – I expect a comfortable win for Manchester United and don’t see their defence threatened.
Differential Pick – Holebas v Huddersfield (A)
Considering Holebas is playing as part of a back 4 at Watford, his heat map shows he spends a large proportion of his time in the opposition half and poses as an attacking threat.
This week Watford travel to Huddersfield Town, after four games without a goal the Terriers finally scored last weekend – although Duffy handed the goal to Mounie on a plate.
With a strong chance of a clean sheet, attacking threat and on corner duties – Holebas could be a high scoring differential this weekend.
Goalkeepers
Safe Pick – De Gea v West Brom (H)
In my opinion De Gea is now the best goalkeeper in the world and while he continues to make match winning saves at Manchester United, Navas is gifting goals to the opposition at Real Madrid – United will be unplugging that fax machine this summer.
For the time being he remains a Manchester United player and this weekend has the ideal opportunity to join Bailly in your Starting 11 line-up.
West Brom haven’t won a league game since January and that isn’t going to change this weekend.
Differential Pick – Pickford v Swansea (A)
Those seats on the plane to Russia are far from sealed when it comes to goalkeepers, never mind which player will be taking the number 1 jersey for England this summer.
Jordan Pickford has between now and the end of the season a chance to stake his claim and this weekend Everton travel to Swansea. The Swans recently went three games without scoring a goal and could only manage to find the back of the net once v West Brom.
A clean sheet last week v Liverpool will give Pickford confidence and he will know that Everton’s fixtures between now and the end of the season are favourable.
CAPTAIN PICK
The season is ending how it began with Lukaku taking the captain’s armband for many fantasy football managers.
This is certainly the week to do it with West Brom, his opponents on Starting 11 and a Double Gameweek for the Belgian over on FPL.
Lukaku has looked an isolated figure at times this season without the supply he requires to compete with the likes of Kane and Salah for this season's Golden Boot.
We have seen lately though that Sanchez is starting to settle in as a Manchester United player, add to that the improvement in the form of Pogba – goals are coming for Lukaku.
