Diobanjo Sanagustin died in a non-combat incident at Bagram Airfield, becoming the seventh US service member killed there so far in 2018, fighting in a war that has largely been forgotten by the US public and that experts say America is losing.

Both sides are exhausted and decide that it would be best to come to an agreement, or one side breaks and the other side takes advantage this collapse to rout their foe. In the case of Afghanistan .... I can easily see this conflict going on for the next decade or two, and an eventual peace agreement.
