Up next is Tulsa on Sunday at 3:00. The Golden Hurricanes are 11-14 overall and 5-7 in the AAC. But they have really struggled, going 2-7 their last nine games. They only averaged 52 points per game in those 9 outings. Not good to have a bad offense when you play UConn.
Tulsa is led by Crystal Polk, a 6'2" Senior forward. She leads the team in scoring at 13.0 ppg and rebounding at 7.2 per game. Alexis Gaulden a 5'8" junior guard is the only other double digit scoring at 12.1 ppg. She takes around 6 three pointers every game shooting them at a 35% clip.
As a team Tulsa is shooting only 29.7% on threes but that number is deceiving. Three players take 75% of their three point shots. And they shoot 36%. So look for Tulsa to continue to hoist up threes at a fast clip.
No much more to say about this game. UConn has a huge advantage at every position and the team is firing on all cylinders.
Expect a big UConn win. Somewhere around 50+ points.

No. 1 Baylor used a big first half and hung on to beat No. 20 Iowa State 73-60. As you probably know, talks about UConn's lack of bench really annoy me, so I like to point out that Baylor played their starters 40, 40, 35, 34 and 31 minutes. And the bench played only a total of 20 minutes and contributed only 8 points, 3 rebounds and zero assists. I really want UConn to play them again.
