FPL: Five to watch in GW25 – Double Trouble

After a crazy round of midweek Premier League games it’s time to turn our attention to the weekend. The dust has barely settled after an eventful set of fixtures, but what does it all mean for Fantasy Premier League?
Gameweek 25 is just around the corner and it’s our first double game week! Manchester City’s progress to the Carabao Cup final has made it a necessity to rearrange their trip to Everton. With various other cup commitments the game has been brought forwards to Wednesday, meaning both sides have two fixtures. More on that later.
In a return to the normal format, here are five players to consider for your FPL team this week:
1) Sergio Aguero (Man City, Forward, £11.3m)
There’s no great science here. Man City have two games and Aguero is in good goal scoring form. The first game is at home to Arsenal, which will be a tough game but when you factor in Arsenal’s defensive injuries, it could be a good day for Guardiola’s attacking players. Of course, there’s always a risk of rotation with Pep and the Everton game comes before a home game with Chelsea. Simply put though you would expect Aguero to get minutes in both games and that means double the opportunity to score points.
