Daily Fantasy Football - Wednesday 3rd April
To celebrate Starting 11’s newly updated app I’m back to bring you a second installment of tips for this on-going Gameweek by focusing on Wednesday’s three Premier League fixtures.
Fantasy football managers have spoken and Starting 11 have listened! Player positions now match those we all know and love on FPL – with the likes of Hazard and Salah now classified as midfielders.
We still have no budgets, but for our Starting 11 line-ups it’s a case of all-out attack from now on…

Its taken a long time and a bucket load of cash, but finally Tottenham have their new state of the art stadium.
As soon as the first fixture was announced, one player came to mind. Who else to score the first goal during the clubs newest chapter than one of their own, Harry Kane.
With 17 goals this season, Kane is only 2 behind top goal scorer Aguero and we all know this is the stage of the season that Kane tend to explode.
Jesus vs Cardiff City (H)
After Aguero hobbled off on 57 minutes’ against Fulham on Saturday, reports suggest that the injury is nothing serious, however with an FA Cup Semi Final followed by a UCL tie against Spurs on the horizon why would Pep risk him vs Cardiff City?
Jesus isn’t living up to his hype this season with only 7 league starts this season and a number of substitute appearance have left the Brazilian on only 6 league goals for the season.
After scoring two goals for Brazil during the international break and Aguero a doubt, is this the chance Jesus has been waiting for vs Cardiff City?
Hazard vs Brighton (H)
Sarri hinted that Hazard needed a breather, but we all left him in our line-ups anyway only to find the Belgian sat on the bench.
Well he didn’t have a full rest having been introduced in the second half as Chelsea trailed to Cardiff City, however surely he is now nailed on to start on Wednesday against Brighton?
We all know Hazard tends to go through purple patches before delivering big fantasy points for those who stick with him – could a home tie with Brighton be the right time to back him again?
Sane vs Cardiff City (H)
Pep this week hinted at making a few changes, stating they cannot win the Premier League and other cups with only the players who played on Saturday. Fresh after sitting out the full 90 minutes’ vs Fulham, could this be Leroy Sane’s moment?
Earlier in the season Sane was the must own Manchester City player, he started every game and was providing both goals and assists then despite scoring 2 goals and providing 2 assists during four games, he found himself on the fringes since Gameweek 25.
He is fresh, he is keen and we all know what he is capable of, at home to Cardiff City – Sane could be an unexpected surprise performer on Wednesday.
Son vs Crystal Palace (H)
Another player reclassified into his correct position is Son. He's also been rested and is looking for an opportunity to find the form he produced earlier in the season.
With 11 goals and 7 assist this season Son was a must own player during the festive period, however his last goal was during Gameweek 26 – did he just need a break from first team duties to hit the final stages of the season with a bang?
Crystal Palace kept out Huddersfield over weekend, however prior to that they failed to keep a clean sheet during their previous 5 league games.
Good luck!
