She was the only 2020 player that attended UConn's First Night that hadn't committed to the Huskies. A dynamic player in the Swin Cash mode, she would be a great addition to the roster.So far UConn has a player on the watch list for the three positions announced to date.
Crystal Dangerfield is on the point guard list, Christyn Williams is on the shooting guard list and Megan Walker is on the small forward list. I'm sure that Olivia Nelson-Ododa will be on the center list.
Power forward? I don't think UConn has a player for that list. But wouldn't it be great if Evelyn Adebayo made a post season list? She could be a big part of UConn's success this season

Tomorrow at 4pm Aaliyah Edwards will be announcing where she intends to continue her academic and athletic career. Live streamed via IG and YouTube.
Here is the LINK to watch.
Aaliyah Edwards, the 6'2" wing from Canada announced that she will make known her college choice on Thursday. This is from Crestwood Preparatory College.

I am going out on a limb here, but I'm feeling really good about her putting on a UConn jersey tomorrow when she announces. I have several reasons.
1. UConn was her last visit
2. The Pied Piper Paige Bueckers in her ear all weekend
3. Kia Nurse is the Canadian Connection, who inspires all young Canadian girl basketball players.
And Bueckers just put this out on social media.
I don't think my limb is very short.

Quick Fun quiz... How far back in time do you have to go to see a Final Four without UConn or Tennessee? Not the Championship game, but the four teams in the Final Four.
Answer: You would have to go back to 2005-2006 season. That year Maryland beat Duke in overtime to win the NC. The rest of the Final Four teams were North Carolina and LSU. Talk about four teams that have done nothing recently..!!
UConn didn't make the Final Four in 2006-2007 either, but Tennessee did, and beat Rutgers for the title. UConn began their impressive 12 straight Final Four run the next year. In those 12 years, UConn has 6 titles. 
And.........
The USA senior women's team recently won the gold medal at the 2019 FIBA Americup in Puerto Rico. The team was missing UConn alumni Diana, Maya, Sue and Stewie, but still had 5 Huskies on the roster. The stats from Collier, Charles, Dolson, Samuelson and ONO were considerable and helped win the Gold. Consider:
1. Minutes - The five Huskies played 510 of 1,200 total minutes. (42.5%)
2. Points - They scored 222 of the 532 points or 42%.
3. Rebounds - UConn alums had 159 rebounds or 48.5% of the total.
4. Three point baskets - Led by Katie Lou, UConn's crew scored 15 of the 30 threes made by USA.
5. Baskets - Overall, the Huskies had 90 of the team's 212 baskets.
Even without D.T., Sue, Maya and Stewie, UConn dominated the international competition and brought home the GOLD..!!
