Lax Dominates Against Niagara -- ACC Pick Em -- TUESDAY CARDINAL COUPLE
Lacrosse Dominates in Win Against NiagaraEight players scored as Louisville lacrosse downed Niagara at the Louisville Lacrosse Stadium, 17-7.
The win puts the Cards back above .500 at 5-4.
Hannah Morris led the charge with four goals and Ally Hall added a hat trick to power the way. Louisville also saw two goals by Caroline Blalock, Allegra Cattalano, Paige Richbourg, and Alex McNicholas. Maddie Birch and Bella Dora each scored a goal.
Two minutes in the game the Cards saw their first goal, coming from the veteran Blalock.
The Purple Eagles had an answer three minutes later.
The Cards would go on a 4-0 run after that with goals by Morris, McNicholas, Cattalano, and Richbourg, before Niagara interrupted the scoring spree.
Morris scored 16 seconds after Niagara's second goal. The sophomore would then add another goal after a 10-minute scoring hiatus between the two foes.

Louisville and Niagara traded goals to start the second half with the Cards' goal coming from Hall.
Morris, Hall, and Dora went on a 3-0 spurt to get the lead to 11-5.
The Purple Eagles would stop the offensive attack for a brief moment of their own.
The next 19 1/2 minutes wound up being a 6-0 run by the Cards that resulted in a running clock. Hall, Catallano, McNicholas, Richbourg, Blalock, and Birch were the six Cardinals to score.
With mere seconds remaining, Niagara found the back of the net to give us the final score of 17-7.
Louisville out-shot Niagara by a whopping 52-17 margin as the offense laid on a full out siege. Niagara's Michelle Messenger finished with an impressive 20 saves.
For Louisville, Rachel Florek recorded seven saves.
Our very own Worldwide was in attendance to cover the match and sat down with Coach Scott Teeter, Hannah Morris, and Paige Richbourg to discuss the win:

Louisville travels to Delaware this Saturday at 2:00, before returning home next Tuesday to host Butler at 1:00.

Paulie got with Dave-O on his prize. He selected the $25 Cracker Barrel card. Daryl gets the $15 Panera card.
We will also be doing an NCAA Tournament Pick Em. The Selection Show is scheduled for March 16 at 7:00.
Currently, the Cards are a projected 2-seed in the Fort Wayne Regional with Maryland the projected 1-seed.

Well, not a single person picked NC State to win. Only one entry had both finalists correct- David Watson. And it was just enough to get him to finish tied with Daryl at 10-4. The tiebreaker was whoever submitted their entry first, and Dave-O beat out Daryl by a little over two hours.
