The Honolulu Star-Advertiser: China could soon outgun U.S. in western Pacific, Indo-Pacific chief says
Mar. 6—China could soon be emboldened to try to "forcibly change " the existing order in the western Pacific, the head of U.S. Indo-Pacific Command said.
As its rapidly advancing military approaches "overmatch " with the United States in the region, and absent a convincing deterrent, China could make a move this decade.
"Make no mistake about it, China seeks a new world order—one with Chinese characteristics as they have often said where Chinese national power is more important than international law, " Adm. Phil Davidson said during an American Enterprise Institute forum Thursday.

WNU Editor: Looking at the above graph showing the military breakdown between U.S. and Chinese forces in the Western Pacific, it is clear to me that China already outguns the U.S. in the Western Pacific.
